Punjab’s Anti-Corruption Establishment has filed another case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan’s sister, Uzma Khan.
A statement from ACE said that Uzma Khan had allegedly gained ownership 310 kanals of land in Jhang using fraudulent means.
ACE also said that two people who had abetted Uzma Khan in the crime have already been arrested. The arrested men include Naib Tehsildar Afzal Salyana and patwari Afzal Khan. The two are accused of tampering records to falsely give Uzma Khan ownership of a piece of land and then destroying the original ownership deeds.
The statement said that the matter had been investigated for fake property deeds and fraud and found proof of Uzma Khan’s involvement along with the two men. The official document giving ownership of the land to Uzma Khan is also missing.
ACE said that Uzma Khan is not a resident of Jhang but had used her influence and connections to get the property through illgal means.
Uzma Khan has already been implicated in another case of buying land at lower rates in Layyah by using her influence.
