Karachi: Due to the recent downpour and inclement weather conditions, flight schedules have been severely affected at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport. Several domestic and international flights have been canceled or delayed, causing inconvenience to passengers.
The national carrier’s flight PK-306, scheduled to depart from Karachi to Lahore, was among the affected flights. Passengers were informed about the cancellation, and alternative arrangements were being made to accommodate them on other flights.
Similarly, PIA’s flight PK-350, which was supposed to fly from Karachi to Peshawar, was also affected by unfavorable weather conditions. Passengers were left stranded as the flight had to be canceled.
Furthermore, PIA’s flight PK-370, scheduled to depart from Karachi to Islamabad, was also disrupted. The airline decided to cancel the flight to ensure the safety of passengers and crew members.
Serene Air’s flight from Karachi to Islamabad, which was expected to depart, was also affected by the disrupted flight schedule at Karachi Airport. Passengers were left stranded as the flight could not take off.
In addition to domestic flights, international travel was also hampered. The flight from Karachi to Tehran was canceled due to adverse weather conditions.
Emirates Airlines’ flight EK-609, bound for Dubai from Karachi, was unable to take off as planned. The airline officials cited safety concerns due to the inclement weather, prioritizing passenger well-being.
The aviation authorities and airlines are working to manage the situation and minimize the inconvenience caused to passengers. Passengers are advised to stay updated with the latest flight information and contact their respective airlines for rescheduling or refunds.
