PTI Haqiqi debuts in Multan

With an aim to unite youth, Yasir Rao announced the formation of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Haqiqi on Thursday.

“I announce the formation of PTI Haqiqi on Martyrs’ Day,” said Rao in a press conference held in Multan. However, the party isn’t officially resisted in the Election Commission of Pakistan, but he is optimistic to get it done.

Rao Yasir, the former PTI youth wing leader, strongly condemned the May 09 violence and the Imran Khan party’s wrong decisions that have put the country in a critical situation.

“Through, this a critical time in the history of the country, however, this platform is to unite youth,” Yasir said.

“I will campaign for those who are innocent and will gather the Pakistan youth under this platform,” he said. “Whenever elections are held, the youth leaders will go to the parliament.”

He said two days later he will register this party and get the electoral symbol.

“If the youth want to change the country, they should support PTI Haqiqi,” he added.

Since the May 09 events, a crackdown is under way against PTI workers and leaders. Several have been arrest and some of the key members of the top leadership have left the party.

There have been reports, that some of them are gathering under new banner, which would be more sort of a forward block of the PTI.
