A woman was allegedly killed in Gujranwala’s Satellite Town by her 10-year-old son because she filed for divorce.

Police has recovered CCTV footage of the incident, showing the child pursuing his mother moments before he allegedly took her life. The child is wearing a burqa to disguise himself.

Police say the woman had filed a claim for the annulment of her marriage that apparently led to the murder.

Investigations by the police are underway, and the angle of incitement to murder by the father of the child is also being looked into.
