Sarfaraz Ahmed brought life to a dead Test match as he scored a magnificent hundred to keep Pakistan hopes alive on day five.
Playing only his second Test in four years, the wicketkeeper batter scored 118 with the help of nine boundaries and a six on Friday to lead the fightback against New Zealand.
This was his first Test ton since 2014 and overall fourth of his Test career. Sarfaraz scored fifties in his previous three innings as well.
