Cricket fraternity is over the moon as former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed made his long-awaited comeback in the Test side for the first time since 2019.
The wicketkeeper-batter is included in the playing XI for the first Test between Pakistan and New Zealand being played at the National Bank Cricket Arena.
Sarfaraz, who is playing his 50th Test and his first on Pakistan soil, hasn’t featured in a red-ball game since January 2019.
His return in the side was welcomed by the cricket fraternity as they send best wishes to the 35-year-old.
