Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has been discharged from the hospital and shifted to Bilawal House in Karachi after recovering from illness.
The PPP co-chairman was under treatment at a private hospital in Karachi and was hospitalised on September 27 after his health deteriorated.
Zardari’s personal physician Dr Asim Hussain confirmed that Asif Zardari has fully recovered.
“President Asif Zardari has recuperated from his illness and been discharged from hospital to go home,” Dr Asim said in a tweet.
