Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said that the cipher was not missing, adding that its original copy was in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Maryam would want the cipher to be lost because it would prove that her uncle Shahbaz Sharif and father Nawaz Sharif hatched a conspiracy with the Americans to overthrow our government,” Imran Khan said addressing a public gathering in Taxila on Sunday.
The former premier said that he had shown the cipher to the whole nation, and the message was clear in it to oust Imran Khan’s government.
The PTI chairman said that the police had been sent to his house for the third time, challenging the incumbent government to put him in jail instead of threatening him.
Taking a jibe at Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, the PTI chief said that a man as coward as Dar would never return to the country without a ‘deal’ and assurance.
Imran Khan said that people at the helm only want to get clean chit in corruption cases by tweaking anti-corruption laws, adding that the country would become a haven of white-collar crime after recent amendments in laws. “The law now can only catch small thieves.”
Referring to the audio leak of Maryam Nawaz, he said that Maryam was seeking import of machinery from India for her son-in-law.
