Gold price witnessed an increase of Rs3,550 per tola in local market on Monday after the rupee registered a drop of Rs2.01 against the dollar.

According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the gold price settled at Rs146,150 per tola against its sale at Rs142,600 the previous day in the local market.

The price of 10 gram gold increased by Rs3,044 and was sold at Rs125,300 against its sale at Rs122,256 a day earlier.

The price of gold in international market decreased by $18 and was sold at $1729 against its sale at $1747.

Meanwhile, the price of per tola and ten gram silver remained unchanged at Rs1,540 and Rs1,320.30 respectively.
