As Mental Floss describes, “A plan was quickly hatched to restore the data from a regular backup, which meant that only half a day of work would have been lost. But the backup system had failed. Pixar, incredibly, did not have a copy of the Toy Story 2 files on its servers.”
Fortunately, the copy that the movie’s technical director had been working on at home allowed for a lot of the restoration.
5: Jaws’ Most Famous Line Was Improvised
The most famous line from Jaws “You’re gonna need a bigger boat,” was not in the actual script. Throughout the shooting, actor Roy Scheider cracked a joke about the little boat the filmmakers had chosen to transport the filming equipment, and it was included in the finished product.
