Kate Winslet breaks Tom Cruise’s breath holding record and other fun facts
In a time when movies are readily available left, right, and centre, there is a lot we never learn about the movies we love. These five fascinating facts about your favourite movies will blow your mind.
- There Are 10,297 Balloons in ‘Up’
Every single balloon that lifted old Carl Fredricksen’s house into the air was made by the “Up” animators. Each balloon, instead of being replicated, was meticulously drawn, totalling 10,297.

Currently, “Mulan” is the most financially unsuccessful movie ever made. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the Disney movie from 2020 experienced numerous delays and had to be repeatedly postponed. Later, it appeared on Disney+ for a price and was theatrically distributed in additional countries where the streaming service is not yet accessible. Due to the lead actress’s divisive political remarks, Mulan also received criticism, leading to boycott petitions. With a $200,000,000 budget and only $53,393,748 in revenue, “Mulan” actually lost $146,606,252 in revenue.

Pixar, incredibly, did not have a copy of the Toy Story 2 files on its servers.”
Fortunately, the copy that the movie’s technical director had been working on at home allowed for a lot of the restoration.
5: Jaws’ Most Famous Line Was Improvised
The most famous line from Jaws “You’re gonna need a bigger boat,” was not in the actual script. Throughout the shooting, actor Roy Scheider cracked a joke about the little boat the filmmakers had chosen to transport the filming equipment, and it was included in the finished product.
