Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says the audiotape that surfaced recently exposes Imran Khan’s hypocrisy and double standards.

“Contrary to his claims, he sought NRO to save himself and his govt,” the premier said in a tweet.

The prime minister added that the fake story of foreign conspiracy was manufactured after all his efforts failed.

Recently an alleged audio tape of a conversation between property tycoon Malik Riaz and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari was widely shared on social media in which Riaz could be heard saying that Khan has requested him to mediate between the two political leaders.

The audio’s date and time have not been confirmed yet.
