JAMSHORO: At least 15 people have died in a collision between a passenger van and a truck on the Indus Highway near Sehwan on Wednesday.
Two women are among the dead. At least eight others are in critical condition and they have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
The passenger van was headed from Larkana to Hyderabad when it met with the accident near Sehwan.
Jamshoro SSP Javed Baloch and the area’s deputy commissioner, Fariduddin Mustafa, were quick to arrive at the scene of the accident.
Rescue services retrieved the bodies from the van and shifted the injured to the hospital in nearby Manjhand town.
The injured were later shifted to hospitals in Jamshoro and Hyderabad due to lack of facilities in Manjhand.
