PM Shehbaz, Abu Dhabi ruler discuss advancing Pak-UAE cooperation in diverse fields

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have discussed advancing the longstanding relations between the two nations.

The prime minister along with his cabinet member met the Abu Dhabi’s ruler on a day-long visit to the UAE. The delegation concluded the trip on Sunday and returned back to Pakistan.

Ahead of the Gulf country’s trip, PM Shehbaz was in Saudi Arabia on a three-day trip where he met Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman and performed Umrah.

In his first visit to the UAE after assuming the charge of prime minister, Shehbaz and Sheikh Mohammad reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

The Abu Dhabi’s ruler wished the prime minister success in leading the country towards further progress and prosperity over the period ahead.

The two leaders also exchanged greetings on the upcoming event of Eid-ul-Fitr and wished progress and development to the Islamic world and all nations across the world.

Sheikh Mohammed emphasised on the historical relations between the two nations and the valuable contributions made by the Pakistani community in the UAE to the Gulf country’s successful development drive.

The Pakistan delegation to the UAE who attended the meeting included Minister of Foreign Affairs Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Narcotics Control Shahzain Bugti, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb, Finance Minister Miftah Ismail, Federal Minister for Information, Technology and Communication Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Minister for Communication Asad Mahmood and MNA Mohsin Dawar.
