PM Imran wants to ruin the country and system, alleges Hamza Shahbaz

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz lambasted the premier and alleged that Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to destroy the country and system.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Tuesday along with other party leaders, Hamza said that the prime minister was wearing a suicide jacket, the constitution and law were being violated in the country and if the constitution and law prevailed in Pakistan then we would be able to survive.

"Only with the rule of law and constitution, it is possible for the nation to live with respect and dignity," said Hamza.

"There is now no chief minister in a province with a population of 120 million," Hamza said adding that 40 members of Punjab Assembly were being suspended.

“We have more than 200 numbers,” he said and added if Parvaiz Elahi had got the numbers, he would not have postponed the meeting.

Hamza further said that Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, whom premier had nominated for the chief ministership of Punjab, is a veteran politician of violating the constitution.

The PML-N leader went on to say that the speaker is the custodian of the house but what the game is planned. "You [Speaker Punjab Assembly] have to be accountable for. I will go to the assembly tomorrow to prove majority,” he added.
