An improvised explosive device (IED) blew up in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's Bajaur tribal district on Saturday killing two policemen who were on regular patrolling in the area, reported Aaj News.

This happened in Khar tehsil of the tribal district where the police cordoned off the area after the incident occurred and initiated a search operation.

The dead bodies were transferred to the district headquarters hospital.
