Pakistan recorded decline in daily Covid positivity rate as 2.87 per cent rate reported in the last 24 hours, according to the National Command and Operation Centre data.
Under 3 per cent coronavirus rate was observed after a gap of almost three months as on July 5 the country recorded 2.16 per cent rate.
Out of the 49,049 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, 1,411 people tested positive for the virus on Thursday.
At least 56 people died of the virus in the last 24 hours which increased the total death toll to 27, 785 mark since the pandemic emerged in the country in 2020.
Currently, 3,649 patients of Covid are on critical care across the country.
Meanwhile, at least 28 million people have been fully vaccinated against the virus across the country.
