Pakistan has reported a drop in both the number of people who died of coronavirus and the positivity rate which stood below 4% for the second consecutive day according to Monday's data by NCOC.
According to the NCOC data tweeted on Monday, 1,757 tested positive for Covid from the 48,732 conducted, making the total cases to 1,240,425.
It also showed 31 deaths in the last 24 hours. This is a drop from the previous day of 42 deaths reported on Sunday and Saturday.
The positivity ratio was 3.60% which was below 4% for the first time in almost four months for the second consecutive day.
This also shows a drop in active cases which is 50,651, with the nationwide recoveries rising to 1,162,177.
