The government has allowed the facility of booster dose of vaccine on payment to people who are fully vaccinated and intend to travel abroad, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of National Health Services on Friday.

The price of the booster dose is fixed at Rs1,270 per dose and the facility could be availed at selected public vaccination centres.

According to the notification, the decision was taken in a meeting of the National Command and Operation Centre held on August 24.

Meanwhile, the payment for the dose could be deposited in any branch of the National Bank of Pakistan.
