Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer has submitted a fresh medical report of the leader in the Lahore High Court on Wednesday, according to which he has been advised against travelling.
According to the three-page report, the Pakistan Muslim League-N supremo was suffering from heart and kidney ailments as well as diabetes and the doctors have barred him from visiting parks and other crowded places due to the coronavirus. He also can't travel.
The former premier’s doctor issued the report on July 8.
It further said there was an issue of blood supply to Nawaz’s heart, therefore, he has to take more precautionary measures and should stay in London near his hospital.
Nawaz is under treatment by the doctors in London who are well aware of his medical history, read the report, adding he is getting quality treatment in the British capital.
Nawaz has been in London since November 2019 after he had secured bail from a seven-year sentence for corruption. He was granted permission to travel by the interior ministry as an "interim arrangement."
