RAWALPINDI: Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has said that India has no choice but to withdraw his personnel from Afghanistan.
Talking to media in Rawalpindi, the interior minister said that India faced "embarrassment" in Afghanistan and there was no other option for New Delhi to withdraw its personnel from there.
India has organized terrorism against Pakistan for 40 years. The Taliban has been born in Afghanistan. It is not the Taliban who decide with guns.
Speaking about PML-N's vice president Maryam Nawaz and PPP's chairman Bilawal Bhutto he said that they both were using foul language. They both know that they are going to lose the election, and that they both were giving irresponsible statements. Maryam Nawaz should consider her tone, Maryam Nawaz should show responsibility, the minister added.
He further expressed hope that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will form government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir after winning elections on July 25.
On the recent visit of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to the United States, Sheikh Rashid said that there is nothing in Bilawal Bhutto's CV.
Sheikh Rashid said peace in Afghanistan is imperative for regional security.
Sheikh Rashid said Pakistan, being a responsible state, has always desired for peace in Afghanistan and would welcome any decision made by Afghan people for their homeland.
He said Pakistan will not side any party in Afghanistan as stability in Afghanistan is in the interest of our own homeland.
Sheikh Rashid further said that there is a new generation of Taliban in Afghanistan, Taliban has been born in Afghanistan, they are not Taliban who decide with guns, we are with the world for peace in Afghanistan.
He reiterated that Pakistan will not provide bases to anyone for carrying out operations in Afghanistan.
The Interior Minister said entire nation stands by the armed forces for the country's security.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan is fighting the case of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir in the entire world.
The interior minister further said that no superpower in the world can ignore Pakistan and there is no pressure on Pakistan.
