ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said that Indian intelligence agency RAW and its subsidiaries are backing the sabotage activities in Pakistan.

Talking to the media persons in Islamabad on Monday, he said that role of the security agencies for exposing the elements involved in Lahore incident is commendable and a group has also been arrested in Karachi.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said that NADRA will be purged of elements involved in issuing fake CNICs to the people and 19 people have already been suspended in this connection.

Entire nation is united on national security and the security institutions are fully prepared to fulfill their responsibilities, he added.

The Interior Minister said the fencing of border with Afghanistan will soon be completed whilst that with Iran will also completed in a year time.

He said the entry at Chaman border is being linked with the electronic system.

Sheikh Rashid said that Pakistan desires peace in Afghanistan as peace of the two countries in interlinked.
