Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz has suspended her political activities for four days after contracting high fever, the party's spokesperson revealed on Sunday.
PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Maryam Nawaz has been suffering from a high fever and throat ache. Doctors have advised her to take complete rest, therefore she has canceled all kinds of political activities for the next four days in view of her deteriorating health condition, she added.
“The vice president has been unwell for a while now but she still went to the Lahore High Court for her hearing,” Aurangzeb stated and added that Maryam Nawaz has also gotten herself tested for coronavirus.
Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has also been suffering from a fever for the past two days. He has tested negative for the coronavirus and is currently resting at his residence in Dera Ismail Khan.
