COVID-19 vaccine: Pakistan to open registration for senior citizens next week

The Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar on Wednesday shared that Pakistan will be opening up registration next week for covid vaccination for those 65 years and above.

Umar, who also heads National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) -the country's nerve center for unified efforts against coronavirus, took to Twitter to share that the government will be moving on to the next phase of vaccine inoculation, where citizens over the age of 65 will be vaccinated against coronavirus.

"Inshallah will be opening up registration next week for covid vaccination for those 65 years and above. The vaccination of those who register in this category will start in March."
