In Pakistan, Covid-19 cases are approaching the figure of half a million. Total coronavirus-related deaths have already surpassed 10,000 in the country.
Although the second wave is proving to be way deadlier than the first one in Pakistan, the good sign is that the coronavirus positivity rate in the late few weeks is still lying between 5-8%. It's a significant figure but in comparison to other nations, Pakistan is still faring better especially considering that the government did not implement strict lockdown measures in the country and kept businesses open. After assessing the latest Covid situation in the country, the federal health ministry has announced to even reopen the educational institutions in a step-wise manner. So it's good news.
