Prime Minister Imran Khan has gifted 50 state-of-the-art fire tenders to Karachi to enhance fire-fighting capacity of the city, shared Minister for Maritime Affairs, Ali Haider Zaidi, on Sunday.

Taking to his Twitter handle, the minister said that 50 state-of-the-art fire tenders and two fire bowers are on their way to Karachi. In his tweet, Zaidi said:

"50 state-of-the-art fire tenders of 7000 liters of water and foam capacity; and 2 Water Bowsers loaded on a ship and on their way to Karachi. Thank-you Prime Minister @ImranKhanPTI for this gift to Karachi!"

According to the details, the fire trucks gifted to Karachi are manufactured and provided by a Chinese company and are different from traditional fire trucks that can only stop and spray water. These new trucks use high-pressure water gun fire extinguishers and will greatly enhance the Karachi City Government’s fire-fighting emergency rescue level, and provide strong hardware support for the safety of Karachi citizens.
