Chief Minister of Sindh, Murad Ali Shah has been diagnosed with novel coronavirus.
According to the details, Murad Ali Shah tested positive for coronavirus after experiencing mild symptoms and has quarantined himself at home.
“I underwent a Covid-19 test on Friday after experiencing mild fever. I have isolated myself at home on doctor’s instructions,” he said.
Several politicians have contracted coronavirus including Farooq Sattar, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Ali Zaidi, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Sheikh Rasheed, Musadik Malik, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Marriyum Auragnzeb, Shahbaz Sharif, Hamza Shahbaz, Maula Bakhsh Chandio, Imran Ismail, Saeed Ghani, Kamran Bangash and Zahoor Buledi.
Pakistan has reported 19 coronavirus deaths and 2,128 new positive cases in one day.
According to National Command and Control Center (NCOC), around 2,128 cases of coronavirus were reported while 19 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 7,160.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 359,032.
