SWAT: Former first daughter and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz on Friday said that the only solution to the country’s problems was the removal of the PTI government and holding fresh elections.
Addressing a public rally in Swat on Friday, she said that an incompetent government is ruling the country and the selected rulers have put country’s peace at stake.
Taking a jibe at the government, the PML-N vice president said that copying former Punjab CM and party president Shehbaz Sharif, the government tried to start a metro bus project in the province but there were incidents of buses of Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) catching fire.
“These fake rulers do not care about the people,” she said.
Maryam asked those who had made tall claims of development to tell whether they have built a single hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
"If the mandate of the people is not respected then there would be inflation, there would be a price hike for commodities and there would be lawlessness," Maryam added. NNI
