Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday met senior serving and retired military officers to discuss security and other professional matters.

According to the media wing of Pakistan Army, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) COAS had an interactive session on wide-ranging issues including professional matters, the security situation in the region, measures to optimize dividends of peace and stability and also the challenges and opportunities.

At the end, the participants shared multifarious suggestions and thanked COAS for the candid discussion.Participants of the meeting included General Jehangir Karamat (retd), General Ahsan Saleem Hyat (retd), General Tariq Majid (retd), General Rashad Mahmood (retd) and General Raheel Sharif (retd).

On arrival, COAS was received by Lieutenant General Majid Ehsan, Commander Lahore Corps.

Earlier COAS spent time with troops on Eid day, commended their high morale, operational readiness and continuous vigil being maintained along the LOC.
