Cyclonic storm Kyarr, which developed in the east central Arabian Sea, has affected coastal belt near Karachi on Sunday night, Aaj News reported.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Cyclone Kyarr is 860 kilometers away from Karachi.
"However, under the influence of this system, scattered rain is expected in lower Sindh and along Makran coast during October 28 to 30," it added.
