Nawaz Uddin replies on appearance discrimination and it makes sense

WEB DESK: Nawaz Uddin Siddiqui is one of the actors who secured his place in Bollywood without having a family background in the field. The versatile actor gave multiple hit flicks and greatly known for his flawless performance.

Besides acting, the 43 year old actor often seen talking sensibly over sensitive issues. It seems like he never feels afraid to voice his opinion.

The Raees actor recently made another comment on social media and proves himself a gentle man. The post was made after the statement of the casting director Sanjay Chouhan of his forthcoming film Babumoshai Bandookbaaz as he said,"Nawaz was on the project even before its inception. Later Chitrangada Singh who was roped in opposite Nawaz left the project abruptly. So we had to again hunt for the leading lady. Keeping Nawaz in mind, all other characters were taken on board. We can't cast fair and handsome people with Nawaz. It would look so weird. You have to take people with distinct features and personalities when pairing them with him."

Indeed, the director's comment are harsh and rude. It shows B-town give preference to fair/handsome actors than skills or talent.

However, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor took to twitter and replied very sensibly. He posted,"Thank you for making me realise that I cannot be paired along with the fair and handsome because I am dark and not good looking, but I never focus on that."

His back to back successful flicks speaks about his talent as well and we are impressed how he respond to direct comment without losing his cool. On the work front, he will next be seen in the flick Munna Micheal which will hit big screens on 21st July. And, Nawaz will also be seen Nandita Das’ short film as Saadat Hasan Manto, titled, In Defence of Freedom.
