13 etiquette rules everyone should learn and follow

WEB DESK: When meeting, greeting, or arriving as a guest anywhere, follow politeness. It makes you appear a humble person. And, there are chances that people start to appreciate and like your presence. Although these are smaller gestures but they left greater impact. 

Here are 13 etiquette rules!

On internet, if a topic requires only you or your friend, don't discuss it on wall use direct messages instead.

It is not funny or enjoyable to tag friends in photos in which they aren't looking good.

Avoid using caps lock as much as you could because it portrays that you are shouting.

Make it a habit that if you are sending anyone a friend request, write down the reason or explain why you are contacting them.

When meeting someone, remember that; men greet women first and younger greet elder first.

Also, regardless of your status or position, always say hello first right after entering first.

Don't forget to take off gloves before shaking hands.

Saying hello first to the taxi driver is considered as politeness, always do that.

When hosting guest, turn off TV and don't use any gadgets too. Pay 100% attention to them, it's a sign of respect.

If you got an invitation, don't ask who else is invited ? It is impolite way of responding.

Don't join your friend if you see him/her sitting at a cafe with stranger. They may be discussing something personal or work related and interrupting them is bad.

When eating at the restaurant, don't ask for bill unless your partner finished their meal.

Last but not least, always turn sound of your phone low or mute while visiting, theatre, lecture hall, or library.
