WEB DESK: The versatile actor of Bollywood, Emraan Hashmir got rapid fame right after he stepped in film industry. He is considered as one of those stars who reached to higher heights in lesser time.Â
He has worked in films like Murder, The dirty picture and Jannat. Also, he has appeared in a biopic based on cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin’s life and career called Azhar. Moreover, the star, now, wants to make a documentary on cancer.
After the birth of his son (first child) Ayaan, he was diagnosed with first stage cancer at the age of only four back in early 2014. It is surely heartbreaking for parents. However, the Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, star turned his wound into wisdom and decided to spread awareness about the disease.
The actor tweeted on Sunday about his next project which is a documentary on cancer, "Work on a docu on cancer has begun. It's in it's initial stages. it's imp to create awareness about 'the C word," reads his tweet. According to reports, the documentary is tentatively titled The C Word.

Earlier, the Murder star, shared their story and raised awareness about cancer by writing a book titled, The Kiss of Life: How A Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer last year. He had co-written this book with Bilal Siddiqi.
