Strange facts about dreams you may have never heard before

WEB DESK: Seeing yourself running in a forest or sometimes a deep blue sea, are dreams we often see. Some of remember them and many of us forgot what we saw in last dream. However, dreams do connect with our brain activity and the facts interlinked with them would be strange for you too. 

We all do it 

We all do it since dreaming is a natural brain function. Many people actually don't bother about dreams and reality connected to it but experts says, dreams have meanings as well. Moreover, it is said that longest dreams occur in the a.m. and they are 45 minutes longer. Also, the time that is usually spent on dreaming is 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Dreams tend to be negative

A person's negative emotions like anxiety, depression or sadness (due to any reason) are more occurred in dreams than one's positive emotions.

Joy, mirth, music 

According to etymologists, in old English, the word dream meant, joy, mirth or music.

The soul is awake

In Northern Mexico, the Raramuri people believed that dreaming means one's soul is awake. It will also enable them to see world with more clearer vision. Plus, these families often wake up at night after dreaming and discuss them.

Birds also dream

Similar to human beings, during sleep birds do experience rapid eye movement (REM) and show brain wave activity. This whole process suggests that birds dream too.
