Moreover, it is said that longest dreams occur in the a.m. and they are 45 minutes longer. Also, the time that is usually spent on dreaming is 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

In Northern Mexico, the Raramuri people believed that dreaming means one's soul is awake. It will also enable them to see world with more clearer vision. Plus, these families often wake up at night after dreaming and discuss them.
Birds also dream
Similar to human beings, during sleep birds do experience rapid eye movement (REM) and show brain wave activity. This whole process suggests that birds dream too.
