SWABI: At least two soldiers embraced martyrdom reportedly on Tuesday during an operation against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhw's Sawabi district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement, Aaj News reported.Â
According to the reports, security forces were conducting an intelligence-based operation against terrorists in Sawabi district's Malikabad area.
The ISPR statement said, in an exchange of fire during the operation Captain Junaid and Sepoy Amjad were killed.
Later, Â the compound has been cordoned off, the statement said.
This operation is a part of 'Operation Raddul Fasaad' launched by Pakistan Army last month following a spate of terror attacks in the country which claimed more than a hundred lives and left hundreds others injured.
