QUETA/ PESHAWAR: Two blasts were reported within the capital cities of both Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.

A blast occurred within a mosque in the Ghausabad area, Aaj News reported.
According to Aaj News correspondent, the blast occurred within a mosque known as “Masjid-e-Faruqia†within the Ghausabad area. The blast took place immediately after the “Asr†prayers. Reports indicated that a large number of people were present within he mosque when the explosion took place.
Accoring to eyewitnesses, 9 people were reported to have been injured as a result of the blast. The injured have been transferred to Civil Hospitals. 1 individual, after succumbing to his injuries, was reported dead.
Police and other law enforcement authorities have gathered around the affected area; no official reports or statements have been made by the police with respect to the nature and the size of the bomb.
Peshawar
Aaj news reported of another blast within the, Panch Biraan area of the Peshawar area; one child and two other individuals were reported dead along with 20 others injured.
The affected area has been reported to be near the Rehman Baba mausoleum. Bystanders reported that a white Suzuki Alto was supposedly used for the blast but it can not be officially confirmed.
All the injured have been shifted to a private hospital.
