According to Branch Manager of Habib Bank, Civil Quarter Road, four armed dacoits forced their way in the bank around 10.00 a.m.

They held the staff and clients at gunpoint, collected cash and managed to escape in a car in which they had come.

During the dacoity two guards tried to counter the dacoits which resulted in death of one Gulzar Ahmed while Abdul Saleem received severe injuries.

Police reached the spot and cordoned off the area to search for the outlaws.
