DSP Wazirabad Amjad Hussain Tarar said that the ill fated Bus having number RIR-4111 after leaving Kolo-Tarar was on its way to Rawalpindi as per its daily routine when it reached near Saroki Cheema it collided with a truck bearing number K-5304.

The truck was going to Alipur from Wazirabad. A women Saleema Bibi, her infant girl and both the drivers were included among the killed persons.

The injured were rescued after cutting body of the bus before they were shifted to the hospitals in Wazirabad and Gujranwala.
