A 33-year-old Buddhist school teacher was gunned down when she drove a motorcycle late on Wednesday in Yala, one of three Muslim-majority southern provinces bordering Malaysia.
Earlier in the day, a 36-year-old Muslim man was also killed in Yala while riding a motorcycle with his five-year-old daughter. The girl was injured when the motorcycle fell over, police added.
In neighbouring Narathiwat province, a Muslim teacher, 53, was shot dead in a drive-by shooting as he rode a motorcycle with his nine-year-old nephew late on Tuesday. The boy was wounded in the attack.
Also in Narathiwat, one soldier was wounded after a roadside bomb exploded early on Wednesday.
The bomb went off after a military convoy passed, police said, adding that the device was believed to be triggered by a mobile phone.
