Woman gives birth to quadruplets in Toba Tek Singh hospital
1 min readA woman has given birth to quadruplets, two boys and two girls, at a private hospital in Punjab’s Toba Tek Singh, in what doctors described as a rare and successful delivery.
According to the hospital administration, the babies were delivered through a planned surgical procedure performed by a team led by a consultant gynaecologist.
Doctors said both the mother and the four newborns were in stable condition after the operation and were being provided with postnatal care at the hospital.
Multiple births involving four babies are uncommon and are generally considered high-risk pregnancies, often requiring specialised obstetric and neonatal care.
Advances in prenatal monitoring and neonatal medicine have significantly improved outcomes for mothers and babies in such cases.
The hospital administration described the delivery as a memorable occasion and said the medical team would continue to closely monitor the health of the mother and the newborns before they are discharged.
