Travis Kelce cries more than Taylor Swift during wedding vows
2 min readNew details have emerged about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s reported wedding celebration at New York’s Madison Square Garden, with guests describing an emotional ceremony featuring personal vows, celebrity appearances and a transformed venue.
According to reports, Swift and Kelce each exchanged 20-minute vows written in custom gold-bound books.
Swift reportedly included a brief sung passage, while Kelce became emotional during his vows, with guests saying he struggled to hold back tears.
Embroidered handkerchiefs were distributed to attendees.
Madison Square Garden was reportedly transformed into a forest-inspired setting with white-draped seating, trees, ferns and layered lighting.
Guests described the venue as resembling a “Secret Garden,” while the entrance featured a tunnel displaying photos documenting the couple’s relationship.
Instead of a traditional aisle walk, Swift reportedly made a custom stage entrance designed specifically for the ceremony.
Actor Adam Sandler reportedly officiated the wedding, combining humour with the formal ceremony. Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, served as “Man of Honour,” while Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, was Best Man.
The reception reportedly featured performances by Sir Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks.
Guests were served a menu including New York favourites, sushi, Italian cuisine and a selection of roaming appetisers.
Swift reportedly did not perform during the wedding ceremony, although she and Kelce are said to have shared a duet at the rehearsal dinner the night before.
