Public transport services remained functional in Karachi on Youm-e-Ashur to facilitate commuters amid traffic diversions put in place for mourning processions, authorities said.

The Green Line Bus Service and the People’s Bus Service continued operating across Karachi on Youm-e-Ashur to ensure smooth movement for residents.

Under the existing route plan, the Green Line buses are providing services from New Karachi to Guru Mandir, where passengers are being dropped due to traffic restrictions in place for Ashura processions.

Meanwhile, the People’s Bus Service is operating normally along Sharea Faisal, offering uninterrupted transport facilities to commuters.

Officials said both bus services are aimed at ensuring safe, comfortable and reliable transportation for citizens during Youm-e-Ashur.
