Swiss FM commends Pakistan's role in Iran-US talks during meeting with PM Shehbaz

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Swiss Vice President and Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis in Bergenstock, where the two leaders discussed regional peace efforts and diplomatic cooperation.

Cassis praised Pakistan’s role in the negotiation process that led to the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding between Iran and the United States.

PM Shehbaz thanked the Swiss government for its successful implementation of efforts aimed at promoting sustainable peace in the region.

The prime minister also urged Switzerland to expand its official engagement with Pakistan and invited Cassis to pay an official visit to the country.
