Gold prices dips locally and internationally

Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Thursday in line with their loss in the international market. In the local market, the gold price per tola reached Rs452,963 after a fall of Rs2,300 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs387,615 after it fell by Rs2,070, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Wednesday, the gold price per tola reached Rs455,236 after a gain of Rs100 during the day.

The international rate of gold declined by $23 to reach $4,305 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs144 to reach Rs7,359 per tola.
