Hania died instantly from multiple bullet wounds, postmortem reveals
1 min readThe postmortem report of Hania, who was killed during a CCD firing incident in Chakwal, has revealed that she died from multiple bullet injuries that caused severe bleeding and extensive damage to vital organs.
According to the report, the primary cause of death was severe shock resulting from excessive blood loss due to deep gunshot wounds.
Doctors stated that the injuries led to the failure of the heart and lungs.
The report said Hania’s right thigh bone was severely damaged, while her right lung, liver, and both the large and small intestines were also injured during the firing.
Medico-legal findings revealed bullet entry and exit wounds on the right breast, abdomen, thigh, and left elbow.
A metal bullet fragment was recovered from the body and handed over to police investigators.
The report noted that 11 bullet and wound marks were found on the body.
Doctors concluded that all injuries were ante-mortem, meaning they were sustained before death, and were severe enough to cause death instantly under normal circumstances.
The time between the shooting and death was described as instantaneous.
Blood-stained clothes, X-rays, and other evidence were sealed by the hospital administration and handed over to the investigating authorities.
