A traffic accident occurred on the Shahpur-Kanjra Multan Road in the Shahpur area of Lahore when an unknown speeding vehicle hit an auto-rickshaw, rescue officials said.

One person died on the spot, and two others were injured, according to rescue authorities. The injured were given immediate first aid.

The deceased was identified as 14-year-old Sufyan. The injured were identified as 10-year-old Zahra and 7-year-old Muskan.

Rescue officials said the body and the injured were handed over to police for further legal action. Police said they have started an investigation into the incident.
