Momina Iqbal accuses PML-N MPA of leaking private content

Actor Momina Iqbal has alleged that PML-N Member of Provincial Assembly Saqib Chaddar possesses her private photos and videos and has been sharing them — a claim that has prompted Pakistan’s National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) to summon Chaddar and demand he surrender his mobile phone.

According to sources, Momina gave a statement to the NCCIA alleging that the circulation of the private material was damaging her reputation and creating obstacles in her upcoming marriage.

She urged the agency to immediately halt the further sharing of the content.

Sources said the NCCIA issued the summons after recording Momina’s statement, adding that the facts of the case will only become clear once a forensic examination of Chaddar’s mobile phone is completed.

Chaddar, in a video statement on social media, rejected all allegations, accusing Momina of playing the “woman card.”

He claimed he had had no contact with the actor for the past eight months and was unaware she was engaged.

He said Momina’s fiancé had seen a video on her phone, called him in a rage, and issued threats — after which he filed a police report.

It was only then, he said, that he discovered the caller was her fiancé.

Chaddar further claimed that Momina and her mother subsequently called him to apologise, saying the fiancé had acted in anger. He said the fiancé had yet to appear before the police.

Sources said close associates of both parties have intensified behind-the-scenes efforts to resolve the matter before Eid al-Azha.
