British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Jane Marriott, called on Minister for Defence, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, here on Thursday.

The Defence Minister warmly welcomed the High Commissioner and expressed Pakistan’s desire to further

deepen bilateral relations between the two countries, said a press release.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on matters of mutual interest.

The meeting concluded with a shared understanding to continue constructive engagement and further solidify

the longstanding partnership between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, it is said.
