KP cabinet expands as six new ministers take oath
1 min readKhyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi administered the oath to newly appointed provincial ministers during a ceremony held at the Governor’s House in Peshawar on Sunday.
Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, Speaker Babar Saleem Swati, Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah, ministers, political figures, government officials and guests attended the ceremony.
The ministers who took oath included Shafi Jan, Shakeel Ahmad, Tariq Mahmood, Nazir Abbasi and Arif Ahmadzai.
However, nominated minister Adnan Qadri could not take the oath as he was abroad.
The latest cabinet expansion saw the induction of six new ministers, four advisers, and eight special assistants, bringing the total strength of the KP cabinet to 30 members.
